The fair board would like to remind livestock buyers that interested parties can register prior to the auction during the Buyer’s Reception scheduled for 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept.25. Payment for the animal (cash, check or letter of credit from their bank) is expected immediately after the auction. If any buyer would like to add-on to a certain child’s project prior to the auction, that can be handled at the Buyer’s Reception or can be mailed in advance to TCFA, PO Box 2664, Trinity, TX 75862. Buyers also need to be prepared to notify TCFA of the disposition of the animal at time of the sale. All animals are expected to be picked up on Sunday, Sept. 26, morning between 7-8 a.m. Any buyer who plans to donate an animal to a club (4-H, FFA, Boys & Girls, Safe House, etc) will need to have a representative on hand to handle the disposition.
