Scholarship fundraiser successful
Trinity Standard -
TRINITY — The Trinity Memorial Hospital Auxiliary held their Annual Fundraiser at the Trinity Community Fair last Sept. They had a successful turnout allocating $2,000 to the Eva Gould Scholarship fund to qualified Trinity students. This years winners include: J.F. Holt who won a $300 gift certificate to our local meat market; Nancy Miller who won $100 gift certificate and Heather Butaud who won a $50 certificate for gas. Every year for the past eight years the Auxiliary holds a fundraiser at the fair. They participate in many events including the Health Expo that just past. They volunteer and donate to bingo, beauty shops and Christmas presents for the elderly at Avalon Place. They also work to collect scholarship money for the children at THS. Whatever the cause may be they are hard at work, working for little Trinity. For more information on this organization or to volunteer your time as well contact Bill Jackson at (936) 204-0853.
