TRINITY — The Trinity Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will hold its 17th Annual Christmas celebration on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 am – 9 pm. This year's theme will is 'Light up Trinity'. There will be entertainment, good food, and a wide variety of arts and craft booths for shopping. The vendor applications were sent out on Nov. 1. Anyone who would like to participate may pick up an entry form from the chamber building or Julia's Downtown building at the corner of Main and Robb. The booth spaces are free! First ones to sign up get the first covered booths spaces on the sidewalk, a few inside spaces are reserved for the elderly. If you do not sign up you may not have booth space. The lighting of the Christmas tree will be held in front of the post office, Saturday Dec. 7, at 7 pm immediately following the parade. Prayers and singing will be featured at this time along with the Trinity High School Band performing. The parade participants are asked to line up at Avalon at 4:30 pm for the judging and refreshments. As usual the parade will be led by the Trinity Volunteer Firefighters in their fire trucks and escorted by the Trinity Police Department. Each participant will be asked to display a placecard on their truck, float, or trailer to make announcing entries easier.
