Open house set at new pediatric clinic
Trinity Standard -
TRINITY —The new pediatric clinic will be unveiled by ETMC-Trinity at an open house scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, May 31 at the hospital. The public is invited to attend. "The new pediatric clinic is just the latest accomplishment in our ongoing efforts with the Trinity Memorial Hospital District to update and renovate our hospital facility," said Brett Kirkham, administrator of ETMC-Trinity. "Thanks to their continuing support, we are able to provide a space especially for our younger patients." TMHD provided $150,000 to help create the separate pediatric space. Dr. Amol Deshpande, pediatrician with the ETMC First Physicians clinic in Trinity, has a thriving practice, seeing approximately 700 patients each month. The new pediatric area, housed in the hospital's former administration offices, features its own waiting area, two provider offices and six exam rooms. Patients will continue to check in at the current registration window in First Physician's clini, but will then move to the new pediatric wing through an enclosed walkway. The new area also features a plaque recognizing the contributions of long-time TMHD Board Members James Rippey and Dave Ward. The open house will provide the public with the opportunity to tour the newly renovated area. Light refreshments will be served.
