Trinity Standard -
TRINITY — "Big Dreams in a Small Town" will be the theme for the 64th Annual Trinity Community Fair planned in September. Fair organizers announced the theme this week and urged area residents to begin making preparations to take part in one of the last free fairs held in Texas. The event will take place in and around the Trinity Community Center Sept. 27-28 and there is no charge to enter exhibits in the show or to enter the fair grounds. Exhibit divisions this year will include needlecraft, machine sewing, applied arts, crafts, collectibles, photography, canning, baking, fine arts, produce and horticulture. Those entering items will be asked to label them with their name and a brief description of the item. Spaces for vendors also are now available to rent. Cost of an 8x9-foot booth inside the community center is $50 while a 10x10-foot booth outside also is $50. For booth rental applications, contact Jaimie Gentry.
