Traffic Stop sends two to jail
Trinity Standard -
TRINITY — On Friday, May 16, a routine traffic stop was conducted sending two to jail. Deputy Sikes of the Trinity County Sheriff's Office pulled over a vehicle for no inspection sticker. When Sikes approached the vehicle, the driver and passenger seemed nervous and he noticed the driver's hands were shaking. Sikes asked if anything illegal was in the vehicle, then he asked if he could search the vehicle and the driver, Teresa Troquille, refused. Deputy Sikes gave his partner, K9 Mundra, the order to seek and he showed a positive alert on the vehicle. Sikes asked the driver and passenger, Todd Glick, to step out of the vehicle at that time. When they did Sikes found a small amount of marijuana in the front seat. When he searched the trunk he found a baggie containing methamphetamines. The baggie held a little over four grams. Todd Glick had a warrant out of Montgomery County and was shipped to them by the Trinity County Sheriff's Office. He faces possible additional charges from this occurrence. Teresa Troquille has been charged with Felony 1 Possession of a Controlled Substance and is being held at the Trinity County Jail with a $75,000 bond.
