TCGS adjourns for summer
Trinity Standard , May 2007


GROVETON – During its May 19 meeting in Glendale, the Trinity County Genealogical Society (TCGS) voted to adjourn until September.
At the meeting, Capt. Andy Wilson also presented the program titled “Keep Trinity County Beautiful” and provided an update on efforts and accomplishments in promoting clean-up efforts throughout the county.
Wilson heads up the Keep Trinity County Beautiful organization, under the sponsorship of the Trinity County Chamber of Commerce.
The society also agreed to hold all future meetings at the Genealogical and Historical Research Center located in the Trinity County Museum, 450 W. First in Groveton.
Regular monthly meetings will resume in September on the third Saturday of the month at 1:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
