Teddy bears wanted
Trinity Standard - December 2007

TRINITY – Donations of small to medium sized “huggable” Teddy bears or other stuffed animals are being sought for the young victims of house fires or car accidents in the Trinity area.
The stuffed animals are kept by members of the Trinity Volunteer Fire Department and are given to children to help ease the trauma associated with a fire or vehicle accident.
TVFD has conducted this program for a number of years but the department is now down to only “a few Teddy bears” at this time.
To donate a new or like-new Teddy bear or other stuffed animal, take them to Paula Fulsom in the medical records department of the East Texas Medical Center – Trinity from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Donors also may call to make an appointment for a later time by calling Fulsom at (936) 744-1126.
