Join the City of Livingston and F.A.I.T.H. Military Support Group for America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4 at Pedigo Park.

A patriotic parade featuring bicycles, golf carts and ATVs will kick off the festivities at 9 a.m., with a program starting at 10 a.m. in the pavilions at Pedigo Park. Veterans will be recognized and a community choir and community band will perform patriotic music.

There will be activities for the entire family including music, hot dogs, watermelon, face painting, bounce houses, inflatable slides, inflatable games, a dunking booth, vendors and a jeep, car and motorcycle show.

To register to participate in the parade, go to the Trade Days office at the entrance to Pedigo Park. It is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and closes for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. For additional information, call the City of Livingston Parks Department at 936-327-5242.

Everyone is encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and spend the day celebrating the country’s independence. This is a free event for the family and all donations will go to F.A.I.T.H. Military Support Group.
