Onalaska basketball did not turn in their best performance Tuesday at Bryan High School, but it was enough to send the team into the regional finals.

Buffalo made an impressive playoff run after a regular season that saw a 22-16 record and 6-6 in district, but it would end with a 90-73 Wildcat win.

The Bison were able to stay in the contest with 10 3-pointers. Yet, Onalaska was able to counter with 15 triples of their own.

Patrick Roth guided the team with 20 first-half points, and had several steals over the course of the game.

Much of the night, Onalaska kept Buffalo at a double-digit distance, but the Bison whittled that down to six in the third period.

The Wildcats answered with Jaden Wyatt's 14 points in that same third quarter.

Roth led the 'Cats with 30 points, Wyatt had 22, Devon Vienneau 16 and Spencer Green had 11.

Onalaska will move on to play Palestine Westwood in a match of top five ranked teams. In the regular season, the two teams played twice, each winning one.
