Caroline Sue Dunn was born on October 10, 1948, to Floyd and Lou Ella Lowery, in Louise, Mississippi. She passed from this life on January 19, 2026 at the age of 77.
Caroline was a gentle and kind soul who always sought to see the joy in life, even in the simplest moments. Her warmth, compassion and quiet strength touched everyone she met. She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Caroline had a way of making others feel seen and cared for, and her presence brought comfort and light to those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Doyle Morris Jr. and wife Janet, Randell Morris and wife Ruth, Sherry Morris and fiancé Brooks Graul, Michael Morris and Miranda; siblings, Marilyn Olen, Frankie Lowery, Annette Fingleman and husband Mutt, and Joey Lowery; grandchildren, Cody, Jordyn Ashley, Jordyn Paige, McKinley, Dillion, Rebecka, Reece, Maxine, Anneka, Matthew, Emma, Cairo, Chanse and Megan; as well as many other family members and a host of dear friends.
Caroline is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ralph W. Dunn; siblings, Billy Lowery, Leonard Stinker Lowery, Donnie Lowery and Thom Lowery.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 6-9 p.m. at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas with Pastor Brian Clements officiating.
