Livingston ISD Chief Administrative Officer Lana Smith reviewed the changes made to the district’s student code of conduct as a result of the new state laws during a special called meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Livingston Independent School District Monday. Following her presentation, the board approved the updated student code of conduct.
In a budget workshop, Chief Financial Officer Darla Dear reviewed the proposed 2025-2026 budget, making comparisons to the expenditures made during the 2024-2025 school year.
During informational items, Board President Andrew Boyce said he received a letter of resignation from Trustee Mandi Murphy Pipes. The resignation will be discussed and addressed at the next board meeting.
