Dana Sue Bowman was born on January 1, 1971, in Germany, to Thomas Dean and Bobbie Suzanne Bowman. She passed away from this life on January 6, 2025, in Livingston, Texas at the age of 54.
Dana was a cherished mother, sister, Mimi, and friend who brought warmth to everyone she met, to know her was to love her. She was a faithful member of Northside Church of Christ, in Livingston, Texas. To describe her as just “simple” would be an understatement; Dana was a beacon of light that always dazzled. She enjoyed spending her time quilting, sewing and expressing her creative side. Above all, her greatest joy came from being a Mimi to her grandchildren, whether cheering them on at their games or simply cherishing their presence. Dana was a pillar to her family and her love will be deeply missed by all that knew her sparkle.
She is survived by her daughters, Amber Suzanne Spears and husband Levi, Ashley Nicole Bowman, Allison Hermsdorfer and husband Jesus Ortega, Emma Marie Hermsdorfer and Jessalynn Perez; sisters, Karena Dawson and husband Wesley, Dacey-Jaye Mann and husband Dakota and Tyonnia Johnson; grandchildren, Elaina, Astrid, Guinevere and Conrad Spears, Isaac, Joseph, Jacob, Melanie and Maria Ortega and Emmitt Roberts; great-grandson, Roman; partner, Don Singletary; beloved fur babies, Gillian and Lucille; as well as many other loved ones and a host of friends.
