The Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call around noon Saturday regarding a female experiencing a medical emergency that involved seizures.
Kelly Taylor Mariah Little, 31, was transported by Life Flight from the area to a hospital in Conroe, Texas, where she later passed away the following day at approximately 8:30 a.m.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding what may have occurred at the residence where Little lived.
Little’s boyfriend remained at the scene and has been cooperative with investigators throughout the investigation to date. Contrary to speculation circulating on social media, he did not flee the area and there was never a threat to the surrounding community. The children who were present at the residence were released into the care of Little’s family members.
No additional information is being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
