Graveside services for Doris Jean Grimes, 89, of Livingston, Texas will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 10 a.m. at the Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation was held Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Doris was born August 8, 1936 in Austin, Texas and passed away March 1, 2026 in Corrigan, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nealy Harris and Opal Davis Harris; husband, David Grimes; daughter, Lisa Grimes; brother, Leroy Harris; sister, Trudie Neal; and brother, Curtis Harris.
She is survived by her sons, Reggie Grimes and wife Tammy, and David Grimes; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of friends.
