Napping in a store parking lot resulted in an arrest with multiple charges Tuesday morning.

The Livingston Police Department was dispatched to the Walmart parking lot in response to a man passed out in a pickup truck with drug paraphernalia in his hand.

Once on scene, officers made contact with the male, waking him. During their investigation, multiple narcotics and other paraphernalia were discovered, as well as a handgun.

The male, identified as Garlon Blake, 43, of Woodville, was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine and fentanyl) and taken to the Polk County Jail.

Additionally, since Blake has a previous felony conviction, he was charged with felon in possession of a firearm.
