‘Food Truck Mondays’ are coming to the chamber

The Polk County Chamber of Commerce will kick off “Food Truck Mondays” on Oct. 6 in the chamber parking lot located at 1001 U.S. 59 Loop North in Livingston. The event, which will be held the first Monday of each month, will allow local food trucks to set up in the chamber parking lot to sell their offerings to the community. The times are yet to be determined. Chamber members may set up for free and non-chamber members will pay $50 to set up.

• Ribbon cutting for the Polk County Garden Club at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Miss Effie’s Cottage located at 204 W. Mill St. in Livingston.

• Ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 at Bear Air Conditioning & Heating LLC at the chamber office.

• Business After Hours at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at First National Bank located at 2121 U.S. Hwy. 190 West in Livingston.

• Learning Lunch at noon Sept. 23 at the chamber office with Rajan Popat presenting a program on clean eating.

• WINOs (Women Interested in Networking Opportunities) on Sept. 25 at the chamber office in which the ladies will paint.

• Ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Sept. 30 at Carr Riggs & Ingram (formerly Axley & Rode) located at 203 N. Houston in Livingston.

• Power Hour at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at The Blue Duck Kitchen & Bar located at 410 N. Washington.

• Power of Pink at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 at the Polk County Commerce Center located at 1017 Hwy. 59 Loop North in Livingston.

• Come Clean Lake Livingston at 8 a.m. Oct. 18 at On the Lake RV & Cabin Resort located at 15152 U.S. 190 West in Onalaska.

• Business After Hours at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at RoyOMartin located at 1923 US-287 in Corrigan.

• WINOs (Women Interested in Networking Opportunities) on Oct. 23 at the chamber office in which the ladies will play Halloween bingo.

• Learning Lunch at noon Oct. 28 at the chamber office with a program called “Canva 2.0 for Business.”

• Power Hour at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Ruby Cattle Company located at 413 N. Washington in Livingston.

• Quarterly Membership Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 18 at Cho-Yeh Camp & Conference Center located at 2200 S. Washington in Livingston in which representatives of Carr Riggs & Ingram (formerly Axley & Rode) will present a program called “How the Big Beautiful Bill Affects Your Business.”
