Following a slow first half, Leggett used a strong final eight minutes to down Goodrich 36-33 Friday in Dudley Dickens Gymnasium.
The Lady Pirates trailed at the end of each quarter, except for the one that matters. Going into the fourth, the deficit was only four. Bianca Perkins and Priscilla Henderson combined for 13 of the 15 Leggett points to help complete the comeback.
For Goodrich, Aaliyah Wright had 13 points, Braniyah Wyatt had 10, and Tamia Figgs added eight. Perkins had 18 to lead the Lady Pirates, while Henderson scored all 11 of her points in the second half.
The loss is just the second in district for Goodrich, while Leggett slots in just behind at third place in 28-1A. Brookeland leads the pack, unbeaten in league play.
