Campus Improvement Plans for the 2025-2026 school year will be discussed and considered for approval by the Board of Trustees of the Goodrich Independent School District during its regular meeting at 6 p.m. today (Thursday).
The board will discuss and consider approval of EL Exceptions/Waiver for the 2025-2026 School Year; the 2025-2026 Plan for Commitment of Funds; and the start time of the Thanksgiving board meal.
The 2025 maintenance and operations tax rate will also be discussed.
The board is slated to enter into an executive session to consult with its attorney and to deliberate personnel, Homeland Security and safety. Any action, however, will be taken upon return to open session.
Regarding personnel matters, the board is expected to ratify the superintendent’s decisions to accept the resignation of the head girls coach and to hire a head girls coach.
Superintendent Daniel Barton will report on curriculum and instruction, finance, maintenance/operations/safety and professional development.
Other items on the agenda include approval of the minutes of the Sept. 16 meeting and the monthly financial statements for October 2025.
