A 27-point second quarter was the start of Goodrich claiming victory, as seven players got into the scoring column over the eight-minute period. The Hornets outscored the Pirates in each of the first three quarters, holding a 30-point advantage at one time.

Sophomore Armando Ruiz led the Hornets with 22 points, junior Zatavious Bowens had 14, junior Marquis Robinson 10 and freshman Jerome Lloyd III eight. Goodrich had total of nine players with at least two points.

The Bucs were led by Iasiah Henderson with a dozen points, while Brian Ellis and Zach Huff had seven each.

Leggett closes the season with a home game versus Burkeville and on the road at Brookeland, while Goodrich will host Brookeland and travel to High Island.
