Onalaska had their offense ready for the playoff run Friday, having an easy time with Anderson-Shiro 117-58 by the lake.

Not happy with his team’s performance in the first half, Onalaska coach Nicholas Tyerman’s group came out refocused in the second half. Already holding a 52-26 advantage, the ‘Cats outscored the Owls 41-9 in the third.

The Wildcats never scored fewer than 24 in a quarter, and produced 41 in the third. They made a total of 25 3-pointers, shattering the previous school record of 21. Freshman Jaden Wyatt led the team with 28 points, getting 21 of those in the third period alone. He made five baskets from behind the arc in the eight-minute stretch.

He had some help. Six Wildcats scored in double figures, as Patrick Roth had 24, Dillon Jennings 17, Ryan Hansen 16, Devon Vienneau 15, and Spencer Green 10.
