Funeral services for Joe Ed Pharris, 87, of Shepherd, Texas will be held Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Restwood Cemetery in Lake Jackson, Texas.
Joe was born September 30, 1937 in Brazoria, Texas and passed away October 14, 2024, in Shepherd, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed Pharris and Irene (Kersh) Pharris; and his loving wife, Betty Jo Pharris.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen McBride and husband Don of Onalaska, Texas; sons, Johnny Pharris and Steven Pharris, both of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Natasha Pharris, Brittany Janeway and husband Scott, Rhonda Martin, Ronald Lake, Anna Anderson, and Jessica Pharris; great grandchildren, Aaron Martin, Denise Martin, Eric Martin, Amber Pharris, Landon Pharris, Jonathan Pharris, Nicholas Johnson, Noah Anderson, Conner Anderson, and Autumn Pharris; great-great grandchildren, Jaxon Pharris, Salem Pharris, and Calvin Pharris; and brothers, Russell Pharris and wife Mary of Kilgore, Texas, and Gene Pharris and wife Donna of Apple Springs, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
