Memorial services for John Anthony Commiato, 77, of Point Blank, Texas, were held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Point Blank Community Church with Pastor Johnny McDonald officiating. Visitation began at 10 a.m. prior to service time.
John Anthony Commiato was born October 12, 1947, in Houston, Texas to parents, Sam Commiato and Katy (Pizzalato) Commiato and passed away November 28, 2024, in Point Blank, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Shannon Commiato. John proudly served his country in the United States Army.
John Anthony is survived by his wife, Shirley (Kwiatkowski) Commiato of Point Blank, Texas; daughters, Tiffany Cammiato of Madisonville, Texas and Jamie Brewer of Onalaska, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Commiato Jr. and Tonya of Point Blank, Texas; daughter, Catherine Allison of Livingston, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony Commiato and Renee of Kennard, Texas; sisters, Nancy Boyd of Houston, Texas and Rosalie Ethridge of Lufkin, Texas; along with other relatives and friends.
