Johnny Lee Golsby was born on March 17, 1947, to Webster and Arty Bell Golsby, in Marion, Louisiana. He passed away on February 6, 2025, in Livingston, Texas, at the age of 77.
Johnny was a veteran and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war.
He is survived by his children, Rhonda Key and husband Jimmy, Johnnie Golsby and wife Ginger, Donald Golsby and wife Amber, Mark Golsby and wife Joy, and Ginger Adams and husband Mike; sisters, Virgina Garcia and husband Cal, Shirley Golsby and Gloria Golsby; grandchildren, Sarah Key, Kyle Key, Abigail Adams, Reagan Golsby, Mattie Adams, Michael Adams, Brett Adams, Jamie Adams, Daniella Golsby, Tyson Golsby, and Kindy Golsby; and great-granddaughter, Paytyn Key; as well as many other loved ones.
Johnny is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Bonnie Golsby; parents Arty Bell and Webster Ray Golsby; brothers, Floyd Canterberry and Ray Junior Golsby; and sister, Elaine Landrum.
A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas with Brother Lynn Sasser officiating. Military honors will be presented by VFW Post 8568.
