Marie Ortega Reyna was born to Esperanza Martinez and Braulio Ortega on September 13, 1948, in Dallas Texas. She passed peacefully from this life on May 29, 2026 in Livingston Texas at the age of 77.
She is survived by her father, Braulio Ortega; husband, Arthur Reyna; children, Mercedes Rogers and husband Mike, Michelle Hansford and husband Jim, Michael Martinez; stepchildren, Christina Shrader, Arthur Reyna Jr.; siblings, Tricia Sendejas and husband Tino, Linda Moya and husband Ernest, Rora Retta and husband Tony; grandchildren, Zechariah Bolden, Michael Jones, Matthew Maykopet, Ashley Gutierrez, Cyrus Martinez, James Hansford, Kaytin Jordan, Kristina Gulledge and Kollin Reyna; as well as many other loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her mother and first husband, Freddie Martinez.
A visitation for Marie will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with a celebration of life to begin at 11 a.m.
