Mrs. JoAn Peddy’s Pre-K class at Pine Ridge Primary School was excited to livestream a Christmas program for troops abroad a few weeks ago. A student’s father is stationed in Africa with the Army, and when asked to make Christmas cards, the class wished to go beyond the request. Peddy said the class wanted the troops to know how appreciated they are and that they wished all could be home with family for Christmas. She said the singing was beautiful, and the students had fun talking with the soldiers. Included in the class are (back row, l-r) Archer Schlageter, Aspen Brown, Jameson Wyatt, Kallimae Irby, Zair’Rion Jackson and Jeremiah Lopez. (front row, l-r) Princess Bogany, Amelia Summers, Mavis Cockrum, Memphis Kovar, Johnathan Garrett, Savannah Lopez, Ava Garrison, Nova Bossier and Madison Piccirilli. COURTESY PHOTO
