Myrta Lee Lavelle, 88, of Onalaska, Texas, passed away January 12, 2026 at her home. Myrta was born April 14, 1939 in Livingston, Texas to BF and Wilma Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents BF and Wilma Stephens, her husband Patrick T. Lavelle, and one brother Jimmy Stephens.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Brenda Tomek and husband Raymond Davis and Patricia Lavelle and significant other Seth Coleman; her grandchildren, Savanah Savelsberg and husband Tony and Tory Davis; her great-grandchildren, Brittney Harrison, Patrick Kaubisch, Luke Savelsberg, Lane Savelsberg and Charlotte Coleman; along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Patrick Kaubisch, Raymond Davis, Tory Davis, Jason Stephens, Seth Coleman and Jeremiah Scott.
Family will receive friends Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 5-8 p.m. at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350 N., Livingston, Texas 77351. A celebration of Myrta’s life will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2026 at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350 N., Livingston, Texas 77351 with Pastor Mike Loftin officiating. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2026 at Houston National Cemetery.
