Early voting began Feb. 17 for the March 3 Republican and Democratic Primaries and as of 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, 3,762 ballots had been cast – 2,312 at the Polk County Judicial Center in Livingston, 1,094 at the Onalaska Sub-Courthouse in Onalaska, and 356 at the Sechrest Webster Community Center in Corrigan.
Early voting ends Friday but is available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at three different locations – the Polk County Judicial Center at 101 W. Mill St. in Livingston, the Sechrest Webster Community Center at 100 W. Front St. in Corrigan and the Onalaska Sub-Courthouse at 14111 US Hwy. 190 West in Onalaska.
These three locations are open to all registered voters and voters may cast their ballot at ANY of the three locations.
In addition to voting on national, statewide and local races – from U.S. senator all the way down to county chair – those casting ballots will also have propositions on which to vote.
There are 10 propositions that will appear on the Texas Republican Party’s primary ballot and 13 propositions that will appear on the Texas Democratic Party’s primary ballot.
