Chelsea Greve, the director of Our Father’s House, recently provided a program for the Livingston Lions Club.
Located at 203 E. Calhoun in Livingston, Our Father’s House is a nonprofit that is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays to minister to the homeless and people in the community in need.
The community-based nonprofit feeds 50-70 people daily, providing breakfast every morning and a hot lunch every day as well. Greve said clients may shop for free and pick three items of pants, shirts, undies and socks and can also have a shower.
“Our Father’s House is a community mission serving individuals and families from all walks of life – offering a meal, clothing, laundry, showers, and connection for anyone in need of support, hope, or a place to belong. While we do serve those experiencing homelessness, the majority of those we serve are everyday members of our community who are navigating real-life challenges,” Greve said.
“Our mission is to offer the community connection, prayer and resources while building positive relationships. It is our goal to show the love of Christ to our community by ministering in this very practical way,” she said.
