Although Council entered into an executive session, no action was taken upon return to open session.

The August sales tax report from the state comptroller for the month of June 2025 reflects $505,870.53, an increase of 5.35% from June 2024, Wiggins apprised Council during his monthly report on projects and events.

Other business included approval of the minutes of the July 15 meeting and accounts over $2,500.
