Though it seems as if we’ve just settled into the relaxing rhythm of summer, the start of a new school year is fast upon us, ready or not.
Students in the Leggett and Onalaska ISDs return to school on Aug. 4 and Livingston and Corrigan-Camden ISDs will welcome students back on Aug. 5. Those in the Big Sandy and Goodrich ISDs have an extra week of summer break, with Big Sandy starting back on Aug. 12 and Goodrich on Aug. 13.
REGISTRATION
Livingston ISD
All Livingston ISD students, both new and returning, will be required to register through the online Parent Portal before the first day of school. Parents/Guardians will need to have an established Parent Portal account and an active email address linked to their account to complete the registration process. Parents/Guardians of students in grades 1-5 must complete the Campus Placement Form, which can be found on the district’s website at livingstonisd.com.
Required documentation for all grade levels include: a copy of the student’s certified birth certificate (hospital certificate will not be accepted); updated shot record; proof of residency (electric/light bill with name and 911 address or rental/lease agreement); driver’s license or state ID of the person enrolling the student (parent or guardian); student’s Social Security card; report card (if applicable); verification of household income – 3 recent pay stubs (Pre-K); foster or CPS documents (Pre-K if applicable); and military documentation (Pre-K if applicable).
Registration will require you to provide a current light bill as proof of residency. It may be uploaded directly into your Parent Portal at the time of registration. If you are unable to upload your current light bill to Parent Portal, you may also email it to your student’s campus registrar or drop it off at a drop-box at the front of your student’s campus. Contact information for each campus registrar, including their email, is listed below. If you choose to drop off your current light bill in a drop-box, please be sure to write your student’s first and last name, along with the name of the campus they will be attending, at the top of the page. If you have multiple students attending the same campus, please list each student’s first and last name.
Campus registrar contact information is as follows:
Onalaska ISD
Currently enrolled students may register by logging in to your Parent Portal account. If your students are linked you will see their registration forms for this school year. Please make sure you complete this process as soon as possible. If your student is not linked please email Ms. Ellison at dellison@onalaskaisd.net or Mrs. Ebert at webert@onalaskaisd.net and request your student’s Portal ID. Then you will click on Link a Current Student and follow those directions.
If your child attended this campus in the past and is not currently enrolled here you will follow the same directions and come by the campus office to complete their re-enrollment. Please make sure you bring a current proof of residency.
To enroll a new student, go to the Parent Portal link on the website at www.onalaskaisd.net. Create your account and make sure you verify your email using the link it will send you. Click on Enroll a New Student and follow the directions. It will send you a confirmation when you have completed the enrollment. Once that is done you can come to your campus office with your documents and finalize the enrollment.
Students that live out of district must go to the administration office and fill out a transfer application. They will notify you if your student is accepted. Once you have that, you may begin the enrollment process.
New students should create a parent portal account by clicking on Create Account. After creating an account and logging in, click on Enroll a New Student to begin. Fill out the contact information and complete all forms. You do not have to upload any of your documents. Once this step is completed you will receive a confirmation page. After you have completed your online enrollment, you will need to come by the campus to complete the process. You will need your student’s birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization records and your driver’s license. You will also need a current utility bill in your name with your physical address. Pre-K students need to provide proof of income.
Currently enrolled students should log in to your existing portal account and click on Registration under the student icon. Follow directions to fill out the forms for your student. Please make sure you update any address and phone number changes. If you do not remember your user name or password you can click on the links on the login page to recover them.

Big Sandy ISD
Big Sandy ISD provides online registration through its Parent Portal. This convenient process allows Wildcat families to complete all required enrollment forms from anywhere, at any time. While enrollment forms can be completed on a smartphone, it is strongly recommend to use a computer or tablet for the best experience.
The email address used to set up your Parent Portal account must be the same as the contact email address the school has on file to access the returning student registration feature. Only parents/guardians are able to complete returning student registration in Parent Portal.
For returning students, log in to your Big Sandy ISD Parent Portal account and click on the registration button on the summary page for each student. (If you are unable to click the registration link, please contact your student’s campus to update your email address.) Follow the on-screen instructions to register and save or print the confirmation page when done.
Parents of guardians of new students will need to create a Parent Portal Account. You must have an email address to do that. Make sure the email address you use to set up your Parent Portal account is the same you list on your parent contact information. To create your account, visit the Big Sandy ISD Parent Portal page. Click on the tab that reads “Create Account” and follow the instructions. Once you finish, a pop-up message will ask you to verify your email address. Open the verification email from Parent Portal and click “Validate Email.” Log in to Parent Portal.
Once logged in, click on the blue box that says “Enroll New Student.” Do not press the back arrow in your browser. If needed, use the “Previous Form” button to go back.
Complete all required fields and forms and click next on the bottom of the page until you receive a notification to Submit. If you are unable to click the SUBMIT button, make sure you see a checkmark next to all required forms. If you do not fill out and save a form, the system will not allow you to submit. If you become disconnected or want to continue your registration at a later time, you may click on step 4 to continue a previously started registration. Once your online information is complete, if you did not upload the documents online, please bring the following documents to your student’s campus during normal business hours: student’s birth certificate; student’s Social Security card; student’s immunization record; parent’s driver’s license; proof of residency with one of the following documents – utility bill with name and address (electric, water, or gas ... no mobile phone bills); lease agreement or deed.
