“Pianomania! Rockin’ the 1950s with Jared Freiburg” is that first concert of the 2025-2026 Livingston Community Concert Association series and is slated for 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Polk County Commerce Center located at 1017 U.S. Hwy. 59 Loop North in Livingston.
Jared Freiburg toured the world for five years playing the iconic Jerry Lee Lewis in the Tony Award-winning musical Million Dollar Quartet. After that, he has toured the world showcasing music and artists of the early Rock & Roll era. He takes his audiences on a “... high energy rock n’ roll thrill ride,” featuring the music of Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and other legends.
Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, he began his musical career at age five with his grandmother as his tutor. While others his age were listening to the sounds of the time, he was obsessed with the music of Jerry Lee Lewis and others from the 1950s era.
Piano virtuoso Jared Freiburg has been performing 1950s era music since he was a teenager. With legends like Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino and Ray Charles as his role models and sources of inspiration, Freiburg channeled his talents into a hugely successful career as a touring musician, and has gone on to tour and perform in venues of all sizes around the world. Filled with good vibrations, electrifying piano mastery and a non-stop parade of favorite Golden Oldies, this show celebrates the music and artists of the early years of Rock ‘N Roll with songs like “Real Wild Child,” “Pretty Woman,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” and more!”
