Funeral services for Robert Allen McLaurin, 93, of Livingston, Texas were held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Oak Grove Church of Christ in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Mike Miller officiating. Interment followed at Rice Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
Robert was born December 30, 1931, in Jasper, Texas and passed away February 4, 2025, in Woodville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. McLaurin and Bertha (Damrel) McLaurin; son, John Russell “Booger” McLaurin; brother, Stewart McLaurin; and sister, Evelyn Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Myrle McLaurin of Livingston, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck McLaurin and Pam, and Steve McLaurin and Kim, all of Livingston, Texas; daughter-in-law, Kimi McLaurin of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Kaleb, McKenzie, James Wayne, Colton, and Hannah; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Alexander of Houston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were James Wayne Byrom, Kaleb McLaurin, Colton McLaurin, Michael Pixley, Cullun Thomas, John Alexander, and Ryder Pixley.
