Investigators with the Polk County Criminal Investigation Division and Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence last week on Lucy Lane in the Scenic Loop area. A call in reference to a stolen Airstream trailer directed law enforcement to the address.
Upon arrival, investigators located an Airstream, later confirming it as the stolen property. During execution of the search warrant, a female occupant, identified as Ashlie Nichole Lichtenwalner, 40, of Livingston, was found to be in possession of what police called a “significant quantity” of methamphetamine that was packaged for sale. Lichtenwalner was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (4-200 grams) and held on a $50,000 bond.
While securing the scene, investigators located a male, Christopher Shawn Smith, 40, of Livingston, hiding inside a pickup truck parked in the driveway. The vehicle was later confirmed stolen out of Houston. Smith was taken into custody on active local warrants, as well as a Texas Department of Criminal Justice parole warrant. He also faces additional theft charges and is being held on two $20,000 bonds.
During interviews with occupants of the residence, investigators received information indicating the presence of drug paraphernalia and additional narcotics inside the residence. A second search warrant was applied for and granted to search for illegal narcotics.
The subsequent search resulted in more than 50 grams of methamphetamine inside a bedroom belonging to David Richard Shatley, 34, of Scurry, and Lindsey Moore. Shatley was charged with possession of a controlled substance (4-200 grams) and held on a $30,000 bond. Warrants for Moore for possession of a controlled substance (4-200 grams) are pending at this time.
In a separate bedroom belonging to Raymond Andrew Gibson, 41, of Conroe, investigators located a glass pipe containing methamphetamine. Gibson was charged with possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and held on a $15,000 bond.
While continuing the search, investigators located a motorcycle inside the garage that had been stripped, repainted, and had portions of the frame cut. Though the vehicle identification number (VIN) had been removed, a detective recalled a motorcycle reported stolen several months earlier matching the same year, make and color. Additional identifying characteristics confirmed the motorcycle to be the stolen Harley-Davidson.
