SPCA of Polk County hosting fundraiser event

Posted

The Society for the Prevention to Cruelty to Animals of Polk County (SPCA of Polk County)  suffered a catastrophic loss last spring during flooding that adversely affected many people in Livingston. In fact, in addition to other damage caused by flooding of that magnitude, a large sinkhole developed on the SPCA’s back property.

Unfortunately, this sinkhole has blocked access to an exercise yard for the dogs and puppies and will take thousands of dollars to repair.

To help the SPCA with this and other expenses, The Wet Deck Bar & Grill has graciously agreed to host an Adoption Event and Fundraiser for the SPCA on Saturday, April 12. There will be dogs and puppies available for adoption and tons of fun.

The event will include snow cones, a bounce house, raffle, silent auction, live music and the always-good food and drink at the Wet Deck. The address is 5076 FM 350 South, Livingston, on the shores of Lake Livingston.

Please consider helping us help them by attending this fun-filled event on Saturday, April 12.
