The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has requested the public’s assistance in obtaining information on the theft of a horse.
A buckskin gelding quarter horse near the county line on FM 943 east of Big Sandy was stolen Sunday evening. Suspects were possibly seen driving a red or orange pickup, towing an open-top horse trailer with red reflectors.
Those with information that may help with the investigation are asked to contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at 936-327-6810. Tipsters may also submit anonymously at p3tips.com, (the P3 App) or by calling Polk County Crime Stoppers at 936-327-STOP, where a cash reward may be collected for information leading to an arrest.
