On May 23, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the suspicious death of Kelly Taylor Mariah Little, 31, which occurred at the Onalaska residence of Cody Allen Laviolette.

After experiencing a medical emergency that involved seizures, Little was transported via Life Flight to a hospital in Conroe, where she passed away the following day.

Since the investigation began, several additional victims have come forward, leading to Laviolette’s arrest and charges for multiple offenses. Police say some victims felt more comfortable coming forward after learning that Laviolette was still in custody, which helped alleviate concerns for their safety.

On Monday, another victim’s statement has resulted in a list of additional charges filed against Laviolette. The charges include a third-degree felony assault of a family or household member impeding breath or circulation, second-degree felony of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, first-degree felony of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of second-degree felony sexual assault, state-jail felony of bestiality, and third-degree felony of unlawful restraint exposure to serious bodily Injury.

Investigators have received information indicating there may be additional victims who have not come forward. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office continues to encourage anyone who may have been victimized to contact the PCSO, regardless of how long ago the incident occurred. Victims or those with information are asked to call 936-327-6810 for Detective Craig Finegan or Detective Jessi Stanton at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
