A Livingston Junior High School teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation.
On March 12, the teacher experienced a medical situation on campus that required assistance. During the response, a substance was discovered that prompted school officials to notify law enforcement. Authorities are currently investigating the situation.
“Please know that the safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priority. We appreciate the cooperation and support of our local law enforcement partners as they continue their investigation,” Livingston ISD Superintendent Dr. Jeff Pack said in a letter that was emailed to staff and parents on March 12.
