A Longview man was caught riding with illegal substances on Polk County’s busiest thoroughfare Saturday.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 59 North, soon requesting assistance from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s K-9 Unit.
During the stop, the K-9 alerted on the vehicle, leading officers to find around 170 grams (6 ounces) of methamphetamine inside the car.
Rickey LaManuel Marine, 50, of Longview, was arrested and charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
Marine is being held on a $35,000 bond.
