Change Order No. 1 – in the amount of $63,616 – on the South Washington water line improvement project will be considered for approval by the Livingston City Council during its regular meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Council will consider action on the appointment of a director for the 2025-2027 term on the Board of Directors of the Sam Rayburn Municipal Power Agency.
Holiday compensation for 2025 will also be considered for approval.
Council will consider action on several items related to the 2024 Texas General Land Office Community Development Block Grant Disaster Funding Local Communities Program, including authorization for submission on an application, approval to issue requests for proposal for grant administration professional services, approval to issue requests for qualifications for engineering, architectural, survey services and appointment of a rating committee to rate proposals received.
Council is slated to receive public comment regarding the flight path of medical air transport helicopters operated by HCA Houston Healthcare AIRLife at 1307 N. Houston.
An executive session is on the agenda for Council to consult with the city attorney. Any action, however, will be taken upon return to open session.
City Manager Billy S. Wiggins will present his monthly update on projects and events.
Other items on the agenda include approval of accounts over $2,500 and minutes of the Sept. 9 and Sept. 16 meetings.
