“Your Brain/Your Recycling Brain” was one of the entries in Polk County Recycling & Beautification’s (PCRB) 3rd annual Upcycled Art Show. PCRB will host an Electronics Collection Event on Nov. 15, its first project as a new Keep Texas Beautiful affiliate. PCRB will accept all items with a plug/cable/cord, or battery operated (with batteries removed). The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1-4 p.m. at the Polk County Recycling Center located at 10311 Hwy. 146 (at the intersection of FM 2665). Due to the cost of shipping and handling, there will be a small fee for TVs, monitors and printers, as these items have minimal recyclable value.
