The COHS Fishing Team landed a second-place award in the first tournament of the year.
The anglers participated in a Texas High School Bass Association contest on Sept. 28 on Lake Houston.
Five teams of two took to the tough Lake Houston and showed off their skills as a whole, and came in second overall out of 150 teams.
Individually, the team of Dillon Key and Bryce Fulcher finished 12th; Branden Oehrlein and James Clark finished 13th; Morgan Thornton and Raven Thornton finished 17th; Brayden Sherman and Brooks Bowen finished 86th; and Nash McNew and Keith Green finished 87th.
