AUSTIN — Recently, 18 Russian I and II students from Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD competed in the Olympiada of Spoken Russian at the University of Texas at Austin.
This prestigious national competition, sponsored by the American Council of Teachers of Russian, focuses on students’ oral proficiency and cultural knowledge.
Students bringing home the hardware include:
Gold Medalists: Angel-Joy Zane, Haylee Przywara
Silver Medalists: Elijah Robles, Jonathan Clark, Lucius Blaine, Abigail Gober, Sadie Whitacre
Bronze Medalists: Cameron Allen, Sabastion Blaine, Josh Kahler, Madison Parnell, Nolan Hutchins
