On March 10, the Department of Public Safety paused to remember a Texas Trooper who gave his life in service to the State of Texas.
The DPS Officers Association was honored to stand alongside the Texas Highway Patrol and the Adamick family to honor the life and sacrifice of Trooper Jerry W. Adamick Jr.
T.J. Phillips, President of the DPS Officers Association, said that behind every badge is a family that carries the weight of service and sacrifice.
“Supporting the families of our fallen Troopers is one of the most important responsibilities we have, and DPSOA will always stand beside them — just as we stand beside the men and women of DPS who continue to serve the people of Texas every day,” he said.
The organization extended a special thank you to THP Chief Rippee and the Southeast Texas Region chain of command for including DPSOA and giving us the opportunity to support the Adamick family.
“We remember.
“We honor.
“We stand together.
“Please join us in remembering Trooper Adamick and keeping his family in your prayers today.
“We will never forget him.”
