SAN JACINTO COUNTY —Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated a crash on state Highway 150, at the intersection of Evergreen Heights Road, that occurred June 23.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 1:27 p.m., a 2006 Honda Accord was traveling west, followed by a 2016 Ram 1500. It is reported that the Honda slowed down to make a left turn, and as it was turning, the Ram entered the oncoming lane to travel around the Honda and struck it on its driver side.
The driver of the Honda, 27-year-old Blane Mizell of Coldspring, was transported to HCA Conroe for treatment of life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ram, 44-year-old William Warren of Round Rock, was not injured.
This is an ongoing investigation.
