A summary of the voting during the Wednesday meeting of the San Jacinto County Commissioners Court. Commissioner Mark Nettuno was absent:
• approved items related to a grant, including signatories and financial documents;
• approved an amendment to a block grant services contract to update language;
• approved creating two applications for grant funds related to Hurricane Harvey;
• approved the indigent defense grant program;
• approved an interlocal agreement with Shepherd ISD for minor road work;
• delayed approval of bids for demolition until grant writers can make recommendations;
• approved accepting a late bid for laydown work;
• designated office equipment as salvage;
• approved invoices of more than $500 for the Sheriff’s Office;
• approved bond renewals for county employees;
• approved the purchase of an actuator to repair a patch truck for Precinct 3; and
• approved the use of a surplus building as a satellite office for the Sheriff’s Office
