Approximately 900 people participated in the 10th annual Polk County Designer Purse Bingo at the Polk County Commerce Center Thursday. Those attending pulled out all the stops with their tablescapes and attire for this year’s “Prom” theme. Although the proceeds were still being reconciled at press time, the funds raised will benefit the Polk County Higher Education and Technology Foundation.
