APPLE SPRINGS — The Lady Eagles made a full game of it, but in the end fell to Goodrich 3-2.
The scores were 17-25, 27-25, 23-25, 25-16 and 11-15.
On Sept. 10, we went to Leggett and won in 3 — 25-16, 25-13 and 25-13.
Groveton
The Lady Indians beat New Waverly in three on Friday night — 26-24, 25-20 and 25-16.
Jannett Bautista had the hot hand, garnering 11 kills on the night. Bautista and Kayleigh Albus served 4 aces.
Bautista also managed 20 digs, while Darbi Parker and Aubrey Alexander had 16 apiece. Alexander had 13 assists as well.
Groveton lost to Richards on Sept. 10. Scores were not immediately available.
