Voting continues but will conclude on March 31 for Polk County Publishing Company’s 40 under 40 Professional Leadership Awards, recognizing the top 40 individuals younger than 40 who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence and commitment to the East Texas community.
To vote, go to easttexasnews.com, go to the “contests” tab and click on 40 under 40. There you will be able to read brief biographical sketches on the nominees and vote on one per category.
Numerous categories are represented and listed below are the nominees in each category:
• Business development and sales – Taylor Haney, Brittany Lawson, Jared Jernigan and Vay Davis.
• Civic/public service – Jayde Young, Megan Murphy Rowe, Andrew Harmon, Cydnye Robinson and Christina Stutts.
• Education – Paige Gonzalez, Sarah Ege, Melanie Spivey, Kami Foisie, Heather Mosser and Brittany Walker.
• Entrepreneurial – Jonathan Barnes, Danielle Smith, Brett Foisie, Brandon Prescott, Dr. Sharon Marsh, Andrew Boyce, Brent Franklin and Kaytlin Scott.
• Finance – Kole Puckett, Brandon Wigent, Zuni David and Sam Handley.
• Fitness, healthcare and wellness – Paloma Perez, Serenity White, Amanda Maggio, Timber Wright, Jennifer Wall and Alyssa Tolar.
• Legal and criminal justice – Kim Webb, Justin Carlson, Brooke Montalbano, Brad Elrod, Jessica Garner and Jeremy Stutts.
