COLDSPRING — The Trojans put down the Crockett Bulldogs 16-1 in the final game of the 2025 regular season.

Crockett managed to cross the plate in the first inning, but the Trojans responded with hot bats and hot gloves.

Head Coach Austin Riddell reflected on the game, saying, "It’s good to finish district play with a convincing win."

Riddell emphasized the fresh start the playoffs provide.

"This was certainly not the finish we were hoping for in district, but that is the great thing about the playoffs — a clean slate, all teams with the same records, and opportunities to do damage in the postseason," he said

The pitching staff delivered a solid effort on Tuesday. Starter Kaden Hubbard pitched two strong innings, allowing only one hit and one run, while striking out four with no errors. Justin Lindley came on in relief, pitching one inning, giving up one hit and one walk, and striking out two.

At the plate, the Trojans posted 16 runs with contributions throughout the lineup. McCade Hilton went 1-for-2 with a walk and crossed the plate for two runs. Nolan Beaver was perfect at the plate, going 1-for-1 with two walks and scoring three runs. Brennan Headley finished 1-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI.

Wade Currie went 1-for-1 with two walks, two runs scored, and an RBI. Cadyn Barton went 1-for-3, scored two runs, and added an RBI.

The Trojans will now face Van Vleck in a 3-game series for the bi-district championship starting Thursday.
